WOD 7/12

Before my crossfit workout I ran 1.52 miles


3 member teams-3 rounds for time and reps

One member will complete a 400m run while the 2 remaining members complete the following for reps:

Box jumps 24”/20”
Ring dips

Members will rotate from each skill after 400m are completed


We completed this in 16m52s and I did 56 box jumps and 72 modified ring dips.

9 miles ran since Saturday :)

Although it probably wasn’t my smartest idea to have just ran 1.5 miles…I have a crossfit class in less than an hour.

No pain, no gain ;)

Tabata - KB style

Complete 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 rounds of each of the following:

Kettlebell swings 20kg/12kg
Goblet squat 20kg/12kg
Sumo deadlift high pull 20kg/12kg

Warrior WOD-

3 rounds for time OR thirty minutes, whichever is completed first:

60x Double unders
50x Squats
40x Push ups
30x Wallballs 20#/14#
20x Burpees


I got through two full rounds and up to 31 squats before the thirty minute time was called. There were 14 people in the workout, and I was among the three people who pushed until thirty minutes. Everyone else gave up after one or two rounds. I feel pretty accomplished…and my legs feel like jello.

Good morning! Workout 6/27/2012

This morning my friend Stephanie and I went to the pool on campus and swam for about 35 minutes. I haven’t been in a pool for exercise since I was on the swim team in high school. It was so refreshing and amazing! I am so out of shape, but I loved every minute of it.

I don’t remember the actual workout, but we did about 1,000 yards including a warm up and cool down.
